Check the base before the flavor
The published allergen materials identify Refresher builds with bases such as green tea, lemonade, water or limeade. A store may offer only certain combinations, and seasonal drinks can come with a preset base or topping.
How to compare two flavors
Compare them with the same size and base first. A lemonade build may taste more tart than the same flavor served with green tea. If a seasonal version includes foam or another topping, treat it as a different build when you check ingredients.
Caffeine and drink families
Some Refreshers can contain caffeine. Use the brand’s nutrition information for the exact recipe and size. A Refresher, a Coolatta and a Dunkin energy drink are separate menu choices even when all three are fruit-flavored.
